Patient Stories
Your comeback can help the next patient.
Had spine care with Dr. Erik Gerlach? Share what you were dealing with, what changed, and what you are back to doing. Stories are reviewed by the office and published only with your written permission.
Why your story matters
Most people looking into spine surgery are scared, and the most useful thing they can hear is what it was like for someone who has been through it. A few honest sentences from you can do more than any brochure.
- We read every story. The office may call to confirm a detail before anything is shared.
- Only your first name, last initial, and city appear alongside your story.
- Nothing is published without your written permission, and you can withdraw it at any time.

Common questions
Who will see what I write?
The practice team reviews every story first. Approved stories may appear on gerlachspine.com and the practice’s social media with your first name, last initial, and city.
Can I stay anonymous?
We need your name and contact details to confirm your story is genuine, but only your first name and last initial are published. If you would rather use initials only, say so in your story and the team will honor it.
Can I change my mind later?
Yes. Call (317) 893-1250 and the story will be removed from the website and the practice’s channels. Copies already made by other people cannot be recalled.
Is this form secure?
Your submission is sent encrypted to the practice’s review system and is not stored on this website. Please keep other people’s names and details from your medical record out of your story.
